IS COACHING?

Coaching is an exploratory process. It’s often mistaken for advice giving, therapy, or counseling. But instead, coaching is about supporting you in your reflection, realization, and action planning that helps you to clear the fog. To make big aspirations no longer a daydream, but a reality. To plant the seeds of purpose and vision and help them sprout and grow into incredible personal or professional achievements!

My coaching approach
My coaching style is often described as empathetic and supportive. My approach is anchored in the Hudson Coaching Methodology, which believes effective coaching only happens when you coach and support the whole person. Our coaching engagement would follow the below phases, explored over 8-12 bi-weekly sessions

  1. Get connected: we’ll complete an intro call to connect, ask questions, and determine if you’d like to work together. Then, in our first coaching session, we’ll solidify the main challenge you want to tackle and agree on where to focus

  2. Assess the now, envision the future: we’ll spend our first conversations getting to better understand you as a whole person. Together we’ll find clarity in the chaos of life. You’ll determine your commitments and pinpoint your aspirational and behavioral goals

  3. Build & execute a plan: you’ll reflect on your strengths and expected obstacles. We’ll calibrate goals and refine your direction. It’ll then be time to track milestones and determine a go-forward plan to hold yourself accountable, in a style and format that works for you!

  4. Wrap & reflect: we’ll celebrate your successes! Start to measure outcomes, and outline long term next steps, including follow-up support and extending our coaching engagement if that makes sense for you.
